Officials say that a third-tier winning ticket worth a $50,000 prize was sold at Kaywood Liquors on Varnum Street in Mt. Rainier, the largest win out of thousands statewide starting at $4.
The winning numbers for the Powerball drawing on Wednesday, Nov. 6 were 12-17-37-58-62 with a Powerball of 04 and the Power Play multiplier was X2.
It marks the 53rd third-tier Powerball winner sold in Maryland so far in 2024, and the third in three weeks.
In 2024, the Maryland Lottery has sold seven $1 million second-tier winning Powerball tickets; 53 third-tier winning tickets worth $50,000 to $150,000; and six Powerball Double Play winning tickets with prizes of $50,000 to $500,000.
With no winner, the jackpot will roll to $92 million for the Saturday, Nov. 9 drawing, with an estimated cash option of $43.4 million.
The winner will now have 182 days to claim their prize.
"Lottery officials encourage all winners to sign the back of their tickets immediately and put them in a safe location."
